Hey! So Glad You're Here.
Hello, my name is Giulliano Pandori Giancoli, architect and urbanist graduated in 2004.
This website emerged with a single objective: to dedicate a space to expose ideas and subjects I am passionate about.
My idea is to make this site an extension of a research at minimal housing that I am working on, and how can we scale this theme to an extreme, revolutionising the housing idea that we currently have. I am also interested in all the subjects that orbit this new lifestyle where space - or the lack of space - takes us to new challenges.
Minimalism, flexible spaces, flexible furniture, nomadic life, and multifunctionality are themes of interest that will be present in the essays that I will try to bring up for discussion. Often it will be subjects of essays themselves, as they were subjects that emerged throughout my journey, and are complementary and pertinent to the objectives I seek for this space of discussion.
Initially, my idea is to analyze some iconic architectural projects that gave light to the topic of minimum housing and contributed to new ways of making life efficient in small spaces, trying to make a parallel with the new forms of minimum housing and alternative housing that are coming up today.
I am still starting, but I hope to be able to contribute with interesting subjects, share pertinent information and bring inspiring references for those, like me, who are passionate about the design of small living spaces and the great potential that this subject has to change our paradigms.
This is a work in progress, and I will try to update the information here as it comes up.
Any suggestion will always be very welcome.
Thanks!
